It has a bending length of up to 120"-126", mild steel (11 Gauge) or stainless steel (18 Gauge). The backgauge depth is 120"/61" L style, two "BOX STYLE" bending bars (0.390", and 1.250"), "MORE than $75,000 in tooling alone". The clamping beam opening is 7.9".
KOMBI-type upper beam so that tools can easily be changed when box folding, for example.
The Kombi beam is rotated via a coupling which is adjusted to protect against overloading and at the same time to give soft contact with the mechanical stops which hold the beam in position. The mechanical stops counteract the forces that arise on clamping and bending. The design of these mechanical stops has been patented by Göteneds. The PRO models are fitted with a sensor which detects which tool has been fitted, the standard 150 mm or high 250 mm tools, such as box folding tools.
The bending beam on the PRO model is also equipped with programmable crowning of the bending bar and programmable sheet thickness setting. After these have been set to their basic settings, they are set by two actuators built into the bending beam, by a program in the control system. (PRO 20 is not equipped with programmable crowning).
This Roper Autobrake Kombi is powered by an advanced Orion control system, making it easy to use, fast, and accurate for bending various materials and thicknesses.
